I have been studying religion, far eastern philosophies, metaphysics since I was 15; I'm now 57; Science is now coming around to an actual contact with God they label as the Unified Field theory, String theory, zero point energy, plank scale; and agree, that consciousness is the source of the physical universe; the same agreement that Far Eastern thought has been broadcasting for 1000 snds of years.

What does religion say God is ?
God is a Spirit: St John 4:23,24; Acts 17:24,28; Eph 4:6; thatThe Kingdom of God is in you: St Luke 17:20,21; II Cor 6:16-18; at a Quantum Level, Quantum Physics. Lol.

During that times of Jesus they didn't have nuclear scientists and engineers to build cyclotrons to examine the sub-atomic nature of matter; so they called everything God.

The next peace of information is a summary of Eastern philosophical books by Swami Nikilananada, Sant Maat, Eckankar and A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada: "The Bagavad-Gita As It Is" dealing with the topic of Consciousness and the Ultimate Particle.

What is Consciousness? What is the ultimate particle?
.
A Buddhist Meditation: "The Jewel is in the 1,000 Petalled Lotus." : 1,000 Petalled Lotus = The Crown Chakra, located at the top of the head : The Jewel = The Blue Spark of Life; Other names are: Atma, Jiva, atomic spark of spirit, the soul.

Qualities of the Blue Spark Of Life(Soul) is: 
.
1. Soul is Life:
Soul is conscious and is consciousness; consciousness is, the awareness of Being Alive. Soul is the identity, the individuality, the Life of the body. No computerized robot can become consciously aware, cauz it doesn't have a Soul.

2. Soul is Light:
That is, Enlightenment, a portal into the  Realm of God Consciousness, (imo: the Unified Field Theory; wherein, Soul has no location but can exist everywhere throughout time and space), Universe of Soul being Omni-present (Ever-Present), is therefore, Omniscient(all knowing); having those 2 qualities is Omnipotent(All Powerfull).

3. Soul is Love:
Soul lowers an aspect of itself to create the Spiritual realm of Pure Perception(the Intuitional Self). Soul becomes Spirit-Soul: all Intelligence-Enlightenment, experienced through meditation as Nirvana, Satoria.

4. Spirit-Soul is totally free from the misery of matter in that it exists in a dimension that totally transcends the effects of the physical universe. Yet evolving Spirit-Soul, lowers an extension of itself to create the Physical universe to experience it through the physical and Spiritual senses that Spirit-Soul creates.

5. Soul is Ageless, indestructible; and is, many, many times smaller than an atom; Yet this small blue spark of life, is the miraculous origin of all physical and transcendental existence. Soul is the ultimate particle, the God particle that brings into Being the physical universe and all inner dimensional realms of Being.

God spelled with a big 'G' is collectively all the Blue Sparks of Life(all souls), in all existence manifest and un-manifest. All the Blue Sparks of Life is called the waters of Life, The Word of God, Life in manifestation.

There are souls, there are Supersouls(Supream Beings that rule Galaxies), The Galactic Sun is Home of Soul, is where we are originally from and where we eventually return to, to experience Nirvanna, God Consciousness); and then, there are Super-Super-Souls that rule Great Central Suns around which 1 billion Worlds of Perfection and trillions of Galaxies, circle. Lol - Gettin deep isn't it - Lol.

god spelled with a small 'g': Soul is god: the Bright Blue Spark of Life in the body. There is no difference between the Spark and the Flame from whence it originates. Unfortuately, being in the physical universe we only experience a very small percentage of who we actually are.

2): Sexual Abstinence:
Accummulative Sexual essence, is turned into Ojas (Mental Energy), increasing the persons Magnetic Charisma and Genius every month, that eventual purifies the mind.

The Purer One becomes in Body and in mind, the more One experiences Transcendental states of Consciousness(Intuition: flashes of genius); One gets more alive, full of Life (Consciousness), Joy, compassionate love for all Beings. One becomes an all there, coherent individual who knows and gets what he/she needs.

Oh, by the way, this does not happen over-night, it takes time for the body to cleanse itself and time for the Ojas to build, purify and enlighten. Its always wise to seek help from psychic healers that can see your energy field and help clear away dark energies.

Note: Please be aware that the Saints In India state that it is very hard for those of the Western world to practice Vegetarian Diet and Sexual Abstinence for any length of time due to the fast food diets and sexual innuendoes displayed everywhere; expect numerous fall-downs.

People think that they can attain Nirvana through smoking pot, drugs and alcohol; what is actually taking place through the use of these substances, is the melt-down of the Etheric Web that protects One from the lower astral realm of grunty Spirits - Spirit Obsession is common amongst the people who use these substances. So these substances have to go. Ooooops - Party pooper - Lol.

3): Meditation, contemplation to experience Intuitional flashes of Genius, satoria, nirvana, God Consciousness.

There are 3 Types of Meditation:
.
i): The 1st type of meditation(not recommended), is to meditate on the lower chakras to raise Kundalini:
.
Warning: do not get involved with raising Kundalini(Swami Naryananda, Swami Muktiananda). One must live in an Ashram for the rest of One's Life, under the guidance of those experts, incase of an unexpected turn of events.

Consciously trying to raise Kundalini is not needed.
Great Saints that raised Kundalini, did so to commit suicide to go back Home to God; for after Kundalini merges into the pituitary and Pineal gland, Cosmic Consciousness is the result: The person lives for 21 days and dies and Goes back to God. Lol.

ii): 2nd type of mediation for Achieving Cosmic Consciousness is Bakti: not meditation at all; through Bakti(complete Devotion), to (Bible: Jesus), In India(Buddha, Krsna, Visnu, Brahma), or better still to your cosmic triple Self; One attains the same Goal, without the need to get into dangerous aspects of Kundalini. This is the best form.

In this type of meditation, Kundalini rising happens naturally(through the development of Purification); when One becomes ready, in her own way, without your attention,  Mother Goddess(Kundalini - Shakti), cleanses and purifies the chakras on her way to the Crown Chakra. All she wants is for you to mind your own business, so she can do her work.
.
This type of mediation takes longer 30+ years or more to committment to the Path to developing Purity before Translation occurs(complete merging with the higher genius, the Blue Spark, Soul). On her way to the top, she purifies, opens the chakras and many wonderfull gifts are realized during those many years of purification.
.
Kundalini, in my opinion is the Holy Spirit, the Intuitive Self that allows perception of the Blue Star. Kundalini is Intelligence and is the ability to speak with Intelligence; the Purer One becomes the more Intelligent they are.

iii): The 3rd type of Meditation is upon the Blue Star of Consciousness, the God Particle, the Soul that is within One, the individual Consciousness that One is. References: Eckankar, Masters of Light and Sound, Sant Maat, Suriyat Shabda Masters, Kirpal Singh. Meditation begins(not on the Lower Chakras but), at the crown chakra and on the 8th chakra. One simply visualizes the Blue Star of Consciousness. Masters of Light and Sound appear to help the Chela attain higher states of consciousness than Kundalini can give.

In Practice, Nirvanna is not easy to attain. One will attain all this(Nirvanna), and more in the After-Life. The best One can do is to try to live the best clean life one can.

Actually achieving the goal of Intuitional-God Consciousness can be obtained 100% in the after-world in the presence of The Spiritual Guides and the Healing Angels. In Physical life its always an up and down experience that creates sadness; if One Looses it to Lust; OOOOps, have to try again. Lol. 1,000 * 1,000 falldowns.
